ED 100 TUTOR TRAINING: LEVEL I 2 Units [Recommended Preparation: RDG 56 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Reading Assessment or equivalent.] Introduces effective tutoring principles and strategies. Includes guidelines for tutoring: how to plan, conduct, and evaluate productive tutoring sessions; components of effective intercultural tutoring; and strategies to facilitate student independence in learning.
