ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS

Grade only. [Prerequisite: PHYS 272 and MATH 251, or equivalent.] Circuit analysis by reduction method, source transformations, mesh and nodal analysis, reduction of circuit to Norton or Thevenins equivalent. Analysis of operational amplifiers, mutual inductance, natural and step response of RC, RI, RCL circuits, alternating current circuits, phasors, impedance and balanced three phase power networks. Computer programming using Pspice and application software for circuit analysis.[D; CSU; UC]
