PRINCIPLES OF ASTRONOMY

[Recommended Preparation: MATH 45 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Mathematics Assessment or equivalent; RDG 54 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Reading Assessment or equivalent.] Introduction to the concepts and methods developed in astronomy to describe and understand the physical nature and processes of astronomical phenomena.
