ELEC 142 NETWORKING ACADEMY FUNDAMENTALS (CISCO CERTIFICATION PREPARATION) 3 Units Fee: $1. [Recommended Preparation: CIS 130 or 139 or equivalent.] Focuses on the fundamentals of computer internetworking. Includes cabling, network topology, electrical considerations, the Open System Interconnection (OSI) reference model, Internet Protocol (IP) addressing, bridges, switches, hubs, and routers.
