SPAN 101 ELEMENTARY SPANISH I 5 Units Focuses on basic beginning interpersonal communication. Covers structures and vocabulary to talk about family, daily activities, obligations, weather, employment, school, and food. Introduces Spanish speakers' worldviews. Designed for students with very little or no knowledge of Spanish. Not intended for students who speak Spanish. Equivalent to two years of high school Spanish. (Formerly SPAN 120.) [D; CSU; UC]
