WORLD REGIONAL GEOGRAPHY

Grade only. [Recommended Preparation: RDG 158 or the equivalent skill level as determined by the Southwestern College Reading Assessment or equivalent.] Introduction to world geography, focusing on the principles and issues of cultural geography in a regional context. Students will study regional similarities and differences in human ethnicity, language, religion, urbanization and urban systems, political organization, and other cultural components. Analysis and critique of cultural phenomena in a spatial context. [D; CSU; UC]
