Welcome to the newly rebuilt, state-of-the-art Southwestern College Higher Education Center at San Ysidro, your doorway to success. ¡Bienvenidos!
We are located in San Ysidro, only minutes away from the U.S. Mexico-international border and we have the ability to service over 2,000 students in our center. Our center reflects a full service philosophy, providing a full range of general classes that can be applied toward associate degree or general education requirements for transfer to a university or college. Additionally, a student can take classes specifically designed to develop occupational skills leading toward employment. The One Stop concept of a center allows students, faculty and staff to access a variety of student and instructional services. In addition, students have on-site access to Reading and Computer Lab technical support, plus, library, transfer and tutoring services.
