Trustee Area Elections

2026 General Election
On November 3, 2026, voters will have the opportunity to elect representatives to serve as College Trustee for Areas 1, 4, and 5.
Interested candidates may view detailed trustee-area boundary lines by viewing the Trustee Area Map weblink.
Area 1: The northern boundary of District 1 stretches from the harbor side of Brisner Street and follows Division Street until it stops just before Ebbs Street. This boundary also includes some of the neighborhoods immediately to the north of Division Street and stops at Delta St., Alpha St., and Cervantes Ave. The eastern boundary of District 1 follows Paradise Valley Rd. and stops just north of Peach Blossom St. and does not reach Petal Drive. Most of the eastern boundary follows Rachael Avenue and stops just past the South Bay Freeway at Stockman Street. South of the South Bay Freeway, District 1 follows the Sunny Vista side of Jacob Dekema Freeway before breaking off at East J Street. It follows East J Street until intersecting with Hilltop Drive. It follows Hilltop Drive until the intersection of Hilltop Drive and W Naples St. The southern boundary starts at the corner of Hilltop Drive and W Naples St. and follows Moss Street until going up Broadway and turning left onto F Street. It follows F Street until the coastline and follows the coastline up until meeting with the northern border at Vista Street.
Individuals interested in becoming a candidate for the November 3, 2026 election must file with the San Diego Registrar of Voters (SDROV). A Candidate Filing Guide with complete details will be available through the SDROV in early to mid-July.
