The Behavioral Sciences Department at SWC are those diverse areas of study having to do with individual, group, and cross-cultural behaviors. The intent is to immerse the student in a conscious exploration of humanity facilitated by understanding the relationship between society, identity, and social institutions. At the heart of this department is the attempt to understand human beings, both individually and in groups, within and across cultures.
Students interested in human behavior and in exploring the many and varied facets of the human condition will find many exciting opportunities within the courses and programs offered by the department.
