Student Center

Completed in 2000, the new Southwestern College Student Center is the hub of collegiate life on the Chula Vista Campus. The Student Center is funded by student fees, as required by law. The 14,500 square-foot facility features an etching of a stylized Mayan design over the main entry to the arched glass atrium. It is a place for all Southwestern College students to gather, meet, socialize and celebrate student life.

At Southwestern College, you can meet new people and participate in student government. The Associated Student Organization (ASO) plans activities and events. You may choose to run for office or volunteer for a committee. You can join one of the clubs or organizations chartered by the ASO each year.

Don't miss out on campus-wide events held during "college hour" Thursdays at 11am. It's your opportunity to hear famous speakers, view special performances and participate in public forums, many of which are held in the outdoor amphitheater adjacent to the Student Center.

The Student Center is located at the heart of the campus in Building 600.
