Southwestern College Volleyball - the place to play to improve your skills, get your education and to have fun being part of a great program! Interested athletes should fill out our volleyball prospect form (located on the menu bar of this page).

Southwestern College new field house opens this fall and SWC athletes will enjoy our new workout facilities and tutoring center. "As always we are working diligently to improve the skills of our players and to help them achieve their academic and athletic goals," says Coach Rock.

Alejandra Puga, a sophomore outside/setter from San Ysidro High, had 28 kills in a 3-2 (25-20, 25-9, 21-25, 25-18, 17-15) loss to Mt. San Jacinto and 32 in a 3-2 (21-25, 25-19, 27-25, 15-25, 15-11) victory over Imperial Valley. She also had 34 digs vs. MSJC and 32 vs. IVC.






VB Front PageSouthwestern College Head Coach Olympian Angela Rock is looking for players who want to improve their game and be part of the Chula Vista's finest volleyball training program.  Along with the only Olympian Coach in all of California Community Colleges, Southwestern College has one of the best gyms in our conference with air conditioning and heat - no other college in the area has both!  We also have excellent majors to choose from, a professional training staff and a Dean that really cares about our student athletes.  Come join our family of Jaguar athletes and be part of a program you will be proud of your entire life.

Coach Rock will work with you to develop your skills, get you playing onVB Facility the court (no teams of 20 or so less time on the bench and more on the court!).  Coach Rock will also work with you to find a place to continue with your education and volleyball at the University level.
