Thanks to the South Bay community for attending this Saturday morning, April 20th, and buying plants propagated and grown by the Landscape and Nursery Technology students. Monies earned from the sale of these plants go back into the LNT supply budget and help us in the purchase of supplies for other LNT classes.
Also participating was the Clay Club of Southwestern College, selling their beautiful and diverse collection of pottery items created by their own hands. Thanks to Scott Witte of the San Diego Master Gardener's Association for putting up an informational booth and answering garden questions. And finally, Sage Ladies offered plants, vegetables, hypertuffa pots, and ceramic items for sale. Thanks Ladies!
The sale of these plants would not be possible without the hard work and commitment of Eddie Munguia (the LNT Horticulture Lab Technician), Eddie Palmerin (the LNT Landscape Student Worker), and especially Pauline Moody (our Nursery Student Worker).
This plant sale is held twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring. Interested vendors can contact the LNT program by emailing Eddie Munguia at firstname.lastname@example.org
