SWC Current & Retired Employees - Come Paddle With Us During Your Summer

OC Kayak
  It's Back and Even Better!
Family Friday returns to Crown Cove Aquatic Center!

Welcome all current or retired SWC employees to Friday Kayaking or Stand-up Paddleboard (SUP) fun. To expand opportunities to enjoy time with family and friends, we've changed the format a bit. New this summer, Kayak sessions are non-guided 90-minute sessions on-the-water.

For those without experience, CCAC staff will provide beach instruction before paddlers launch for a paddle in the Cove. Kayaks will be available for reservation between 9 AM and 1:00 PM on Fridays. All ages are welcome for Kayaking, however a legal adult (18 yrs or older) must be on the water with all minors. All paddlers and kayak occupants must wear a US Coast Guard approved Life Jacket at all times while in/on the boat! The cost for Kayak Family Fridays is $15/kayak - a 50% discount off our regular fees.

SUP paddlers will enjoy a 90-minute guided session in the Cove and around Coronado Cays as appropriate. SUP reservations are limited to either the 9:30 AM or 12:30 PM session. ADVANCED RESERVATIONS REQUIRED - Summer is the busiest season at the Center and there is a limited amount of boating equipment to support all participants. Reservations will help assure there will be SUPs for you and your group. There is a minimum age of 10 for SUP. All paddlers must wear a US Coast Guard approved Life Jacket at all times while on the board. The cost for SUP Family Fridays is $15/person (one person maximum per board) - a 50% discount off our regular fees.

All reservations are subject to availability of equipment and support staff.
Reservations are subject to cancellation based upon weather conditions (wind, currents, rain, etc).

All participants MUST BE PRESENT at least 30-minutes prior to your scheduled session (to receive parking pass, complete required paperwork, get fitted for life-jackets, apply sunscreen, etc.) or risk cancellation of the activity.
