Uncertain about which career path to choose or which major to pursue? The Career Center offers individual career counseling appointments, workshops, walk-in assistance, and online access to career research software (Career Center Activities Calendar).  So, let the Career Center partner with you to discover your career possibilities today.  Follow these steps:

Step 1 Assessment:  In order to choose the right major or career path it’s important to identify who you are, what’s important to you as well as your natural skills.  Sign-up for one of our assessmets (Choices Planner, MBTI, Career Cruising).

Step 2 Career Exploration: There are so many career alternatives which can incorporate those natural skills and interests. Click on Step 2 for information websites regarding Careers, Job Outlook and Salary. 

Step 3 Choosing a Career/Major: Once you have identified the Career that Interests you, it is time to plan your educational path. Click on Step 3 for information on General Education requirements for Associate's, Certificate, and transfer programs.

Step 4 Improving Your Professional Skills: Standing out in an Interview requires strong interviewing skills as well as previous work experience in the field. Click on Step 4 for online resources to improve your professional skills.

Instructors are invited to bring their class into the Career Center for an orientation, and/or to complete online Career assessments. Career Counselors are also available to help complete online research on specific jobs related to a class or major.
