Welcome to The Higher Education Center e-Counselor Services. e-Counselor is meant to enhance our current, or prospective students', knowledge and information relevant to pursuing educational goals at Southwestern College.
All messages will be reviewed and responded to by the resident counselors at Higher Education Center in National City in a time frame dictated by counselor availability. Information provided by counselors is subject to the limitations of this Online Service. Before clicking on the link please carefully read the information below before using this service.
HECNC e-Counselor is appropriate for information such as:
- transferability of Southwestern College courses
- college procedures and academic policies
- certificate, degree and transfer requirements
- course prerequisites
- course offerings and course content
- referral to other programs/services
e-Counselor is not appropriate for:
- personal counseling
- career counseling
- transcript evaluation
- matriculation test results
Counseling appointments are also available by requesting an appointment by telephone at (619) 216-6665 x4851, via email at hecnc@swccd.edu, or in person at the Higher Education Center in National City, Student Services area.
