Visitations
Your students are more likely to
visit the Writing Center after one of our tutors has made a brief
presentation about our services in your class. To arrange such
a presentation, contact our Writing
Center Clerk. |

Walk-in
Tutor Appointments
Writing Center
tutors will work with your students for about twenty minutes,
looking at aspects of their papers or problems they might be having
with the reading or writing process. They can come back as many
times as they want for another twenty-minute session. Writiing
Center tutors help your studnets learn to edit and proofread their
own work and develop skills to improve their reading. |
| |
Handouts
The Writing Center faculty and
tutors have created handouts related to writing, grammar, punctuation,
research, and citation information. The Handout Table of Contents
will help you find materials that will assist your students in
written assignments in your courses. |

OWL
Online
Writing Lab tutors will assist your students with their writing
assigments. The Writiing Center tutors do NOT edit or proofread.
Rather they provide guidance to help students discover their writing
errors and come up with their own solutions. |
