If you
are a Southwestern College student who is interested in improving your
writing skills, these workshops are for you!

happens during a workshop?
A SWC faculty
member provides you with useful information regarding the workshop topic.
Time is devoted to hands-on practice, with trained tutors to assist
you.

if I am already enrolled in a composition course?
Great!
These workshops offer some extra assistance and help you make the most
of your English course. Sometimes different approaches will help you
better understand writing concepts.

Yes! Thousands
of SWC students have attended our workshops and the feedback has been

if I need help with my essay?
We encourage
you to bring your essay for hands-on practice. In addition, you can
visit the Writing Center in room 428 for assistance.
