By JiorDahno Murguia, Southwestern Sun - Matt Ustaszewski cannot walk on water, but the second-year coach pulled off another miracle. He raised the men's water polo team from the dead. Southwestern College's once-moribund team went from doormat to more than respectable in one season, earning Ustaszewski the award of Pacific Coast Conference Coach of the Year. Southwestern College’s much- improved men’s water polo team put a scare into a strong Palomar team, but could not quite close the deal in a 13- 9 loss to the Comets. They did, however, send some shockwaves through the league and a message - we’re for real.
