San Diego Dental Seminars, Inc. plans, promotes, and conducts clinical and didactic seminars for dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants at the new state-of-the-art clinic at Southwestern College Higher Education Center San Diego, California. In affiliation with Southwestern College, SDDS presents professional development programs for all dental licensees, dental auxilliary licensees and dental educators. SDDS utilizes the faculty of the Southwestern College Dental Hygiene Program and leading experts in the field to provide clinical and didactic seminars that satisfy California licensees' continuing education requirements. San Diego Dental Seminars holds professional development programs in the state-of-the-art dental clinic at the Higher Education Center at Southwestern College. The clinic was opened in 2004 and is located at 880 National City Boulevard, National City, CA. Laurie A. Rynkofs, B.A.,     RDH San Diego Dental Seminars, inc. was founded by its President, Laurie A. Rynkofs, RDH, in 2005. Ms. Rynkofs received her Bachelor of Arts degree in dental hygiene from Idaho State University in 1979. She has had over 25 years of experience in private practice as a hygienist in San Diego. From April 2001 to the present, Ms. Rynkofs has served as a clinical instructor in the Southwestern College Dental Hygiene Program. contact info Christine M. Perri, M.A.,     RDH The operation of Southwestern College's Professional Development Center is supervised by Christine M. Perri. She received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene Education and a Master of Arts in Health Education from New York University. Ms. Perri is licensed in the states of New York and California. She has been in private practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist, served as an adjunct lecturer in the Dental Hygiene Unit at City University of New York, was the Dental Assisting Program Coordinator for City University of New York Research Foundation, and was a full time Assistant Professor in the Dental Hygiene Unit of City Univeristy of New York before joining the staff of Southwestern College in 2001. Ms. Perri served as the Director of the Dental Hygiene Program at Southwestern College from 2000-2005, and was appointed Interim Dean of the Higher Education Center of Southwestern College in 2005. Teresa M. Poulos, M.Ed.,     RDH Terri Poulos is currently the Acting Director of the Southwestern College Dental Hygiene Program. She has been a didacatic and clinical instructor since the onset of the program in 2000. Ms. Poulos received a Bachelor of Arts in Health Education and a M.Ed. in Higher Education from the University of Washington in Seattle. She obtained her Certificate in Dental Hygiene in 1971 from the University of Michigan and has a Certificate in Expanded Duties and a Certificate in Information Systems Development. In addition to the years of experience as a hygienist, Ms. Poulos' resume includes a long list of educational methodology coursework, and numerous courses that she has taught as a professor of dental hygiene.
