Some of this course is a review of Elementary Algebra and includes: properties, linear equations and inequalities, exponents, polynomials, factoring, rational expressions, and radicals. There is a more advanced discussion of quadratic equations and systems of equations. The new material covers conic sections, functions, exponential and logarithmic functions. This course is not open to students with credit in a higher numbered math course except Math 130. This is a five unit course.
