Description: Southwestern College Mothers and Mother-Scholars (M.A.M.S.) is a student-led club and support group that focuses on women, parent issues and uniting student-mothers at Southwestern College. The club also wants to spread awareness about domestic violence. M.A.M.S. will present Erica Alfaro, an education advocate and the author of “Harvesting Dreams.” Erica Alfaro will share her story about motherhood, struggles, survival, and empowerment.
