Southwestern College students needing a student ID card may request one for free through our online request form, which can be found on the Student Activities webpage or by clicking the link below.

Students must be signed into their MySWC account to complete and submit form. If you are denied access, please make sure you are logged out of all personal Google accounts and only logged into your MySWC account.

The form will ask students to upload:

1.) A selfie photo against a plain, white wall:

-Smiling is encouraged but not necessary
- Photo should be from the shoulders up
- If eyeglasses cause a large glare, please remove them and retake the photo
- No masks, hats, beanies, hoods, headphones, or sunglasses may be worn
- Religious headdresses may be worn

2.) A picture or scan of one of the following government-issued photo ID cards:

-Driver's license or state ID card (any state)
-Passport (not expired, US or foreign)
- Sentri Pass
- High school ID card

After submitting, please allow up to two weeks for our Student Activities staff to verify your enrollment and make your student ID card. Students will be emailed with instructions for picking up their new ID from the main Chula Vista campus once it has been made.

For any questions regarding eligibility, request process, form access, proof of identity, or pickup arrangements, please contact Student Activities' senior project clerk, Nick Fox (nfox@swccd.edu).
