The San Diego Pride Parade is back in person this year and SWC is proud to join the celebration once again. We would like to invite all SWC professionals, students, and their families to join us in celebrating and honoring the LGBTQ+ community. Join us as we march together in unity as one big SWC family!

Theme: Justice with Joy!
When: July 16, 2022 @ 10:00 AM
Locations: The parade begins at the Hillcrest Pride Flag at University Ave. and Normal St., proceeds west on University Ave., turns south on 6th Ave., turns left onto Balboa Dr. and ends at Quince Dr.
Route Length: 1.5 miles

1. We expect all participants to engage in thoughtful and respectful behavior while participating in the Southwestern Community College District Pride Contingent.

2. We expect participants to acknowledge and respect our many intersections of identities that we bring to the Southwestern Community College District Pride Contingent.

3. We expect participants to NOT bring illegal drugs, alcohol, marijuana, or weapons while participating in the Southwestern Community College District Pride Contingent.

4. We expect participants to adhere to all College/District polices while participating in the Southwestern Community College District Pride Contingent. Any violations of these expectation not only have consequences for creating an inclusive community within our Southwestern Community College District Pride Contingent, but may endanger our ability to host future Southwestern Community College District Pride Contingents. Office of Equity and Engagement staff reserve the right to dismiss any contingent participant if expectations or rules are violated.
5. Students, Employees, and Family Members are responsible for providing their own transportation to/from San Diego Pride Parade.
