Have you ever wondered how you can better support the LGBQTI community at Southwestern College? When you’ve noticed harm happen to someone based on their gender identity or sexual orientation, have you found yourself angry, unsure, or frozen not knowing what to do? It’s common to feel overwhelmed when faced with systems of oppression, especially when we are considering how to interrupt harmful behaviors and actions happening to those we care about. Have you ever thought about how to be a better ally? Do you want to enhance your public speaking skills specifically around heterosexism and cisgenderism?

If yes, join us for the [Beyond Safe Zone] Facilitator Training at Southwestern College! In this training, you’ll learn to improve your skills in becoming an ally and join a community of facilitators at Southwestern College working to make change.
