DSS Services

DSS offers a variety of individualized accommodations and services. These are determined by a DSS Counselor during your first appointment and are based upon the functional limitations of your disability and your specific learning needs.

Counseling: Specialized counseling to assist with the verification of a disability, identification of reasonable accommodations, academic and career planning, and Student Educational Plans (SEPs)

Registration Assistance: Receive assistance obtaining Enrollment Priorities.

Accommodations: Individual accommodations may include test proctoring services; note taking assistance; use of recorder in class; sign language interpreting and real time captioning; and alternate media.
Services: Individual services may include learning disabilities assessment, Personal Development classes, Exercise Limited classes (Adapted PE), specialized tutoring, assistive technology through our High Tech Center and the Neurolinks Autism Program.
