San Diego Center for International Trade Development (CITD)

The San Diego Center for International Trade Development (CITD) provides value-added trade assistance to help small and medium-sized businesses expand internationally. The CITD provides a variety of services to assist companies with entering, succeeding, and expanding in international markets, including one-on-one counseling, specialized training, conferences, trade missions, and trade shows. The CITD Director is the Deputy Sector Navigator (“DSN”) of the San Diego Imperial Global Trade and Logistics sector, a “Doing What Matters” program of the California Community Colleges Chancellors Office.


San Diego Contracting Opportunities Center (SDCOC)

SDCOC provides no cost services to assist San Diego county small businesses with selling their products and services to government agencies. Services include mentoring and training on topics relating to government contracting, including the identification of bidding opportunities, development of marketing strategies, business intelligence research, certification assistance, bid/proposal development, and contract management, among others. Small Business Development Center


The San Diego & Imperial Valley Small Business Development Center network provides a vast array of technical assistance to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs in the San Diego and Imperial Valley counties. By supporting business growth, sustainability and enhancing the creation of new business through advising, low-cost training and other specialized services San Diego & Imperial Valley clients receive; the program remains one of the nation’s largest small business assistance programs in the federal government.


Small Business Development Center South San Diego


Committed to a growing, vibrant small business community, the SBDC has provided south San Diego small businesses with critical information and tools for over twenty years. South San Diego SBDC is hosted by Southwestern College. All networks in the region serve small and developing businesses throughout south San Diego County.
