Alba Constenla Torrado, Ph.D.

Alba Constenla is a Professor of Spanish in the School Languages & Literatures at Southwestern College.

Alba was born and raised in Galicia (Spain). She moved to the United States in 2014, where she completed her Ph.D. at the University of California, Santa Barbara (2020); and her M.A. at the University of Kansas (2016).

Alba currently teaches Spanish for bilingual/heritage speakers.
