A native of Virginia, residing in San Diego, California, I have a demonstrated parallel history of working successfully in inpatient/outpatient mental health, forensic as well as public safety and higher educational settings. I have a strong mental health practitioner and university teaching backgrounds with a doctorate (Ph.D.) in clinical psychology, published with references, exceptional research ability, and analytical-clinical solution focused treatment skills in general, clinical-forensic mental health settings.

Academically, my experience includes faculty and administrative positions as Visiting Professor, Sabbatical Professor, Assistant Clinical Professor, Full-time Department Chair, Program Director, Associate Dean of Students and Vice President of Academic Affairs.

Clinical-forensic and public safety setting experience includes evaluation, assessment and treatment and case-specific consultation. Experience includes 24-hour emergency triage, trauma response, crisis intervention, relapse prevention, intervention diagnosis and treatment with individual and group therapy, substance abuse, case management, and discharge planning. Target populations include general and forensic mental health (RNR, GLM, Containment Model, CONREP, evaluation, assessment, and risk management).
