Credit Courses

Librarians teach two for-credit courses during the Fall and Spring Semesters:

  • LIB 110: Simplified Research: Print and Electronic introduces library resources in both print and non-print forms. Focuses on research in the college library as well as design and implementation of research strategies. This class is normally taught as a hybrid course. 1 unit.
  • LIB 151: Research Using the Internet focuses on the Internet as a research tool. Includes finding, evaluating, downloading, citing Web resources, Web browsers, search engines, directories, databases, and Web pacs. Emphasizes the development of Internet search strategies and how to evaluate sources. This class is normally taught online. 1 unit.
