Y.E.S. (Youth Excellence & Success) Academy

Welcome to the Y.E.S. Academy — Southwestern College’s community-based summer youth program that inspires discovery, creativity, and confidence for students entering grades K–10. Through hands-on classes and engaging summer experiences, Y.E.S. connects learning today with opportunities for tomorrow through early career exploration awareness and skill-building.

Parent Consent & Contact Form

After registering your child(ren), we ask that parents/guardians complete this form, which collects everything we need to ensure your student has a safe and meaningful experience.

Instructor Proposal Form

The Y.E.S. Academy welcomes enthusiastic instructors to lead hands-on, project-based classes for youth in grades K–10.

Volunteer Application Form

We welcome high school students entering grades 11–12 to support the Y.E.S. Academy as volunteers and peer role models.

Volunteers help create a welcoming, organized environment by supporting transitions, assisting with activities, and modeling positive engagement.

Supporting and promoting life-long learning, our Community Education Classes bring to the classroom the expertise of industry-specific professionals to introduce our students to a new professional field or enhance our students' skills already in that field.
