As a resource for students, faculty, and staff, LAS provides the fullest opportunities for mastering the strategies, skills, understanding, and attitudes that foster effective and self-directed learning in college and beyond. Students are encouraged to access services early in the semester. Free on-ground and online tutoring for SWC students is available including in-person tutoring at the Academic Success Center (building 26 on the Chula Vista campus), evening and weekend tutoring via eTutoring, and asynchronous writing assistance via our Online Writing Lab (OWL).
