Taylor LaRue

Taylor LaRue (they/them/theirs) is an Instructional Lab Technician for the Ceramics department at Southwestern College. Taylor is a non-binary artist from Northern California with a background in studio ceramics and technical support in arts programs. They hold multiple Associate Degrees in Art, Sociology, and History from College of the Redwoods, and they have extensive experience managing ceramics studios, firing kilns, and teaching handbuilding techniques. As an artist, their work blends themes of queerness and nature with punk aesthetics, reflecting both anger at societal injustices and hope for a better future.
