Employee Affinity Groups

SWC Black Alliance EAG
SWC Black Alliance creates an environment that fosters the development and advancement of Black students, faculty and staff. Our objective is to enhance and promote the academic, professional, and personal well-being of our campus and the broader community. We accomplish this through student success initiatives, mentorship, leadership opportunities, and advocacy.

- Highlight, celebrate, and promote the accomplishments of the Chicano/Latino community.
- Provide a forum for discussing issues affecting Chicano/Latino students, faculty, and staff.

SWC Disability EAG
The SWC Disability Employee Affinity Group is a community space for disabled administrators, classified professionals, faculty, and allies to empower, connect, support, and advocate for disability inclusion and equity. It offers a space for sharing lived experiences, raising awareness about accessibility and ableism, and working collaboratively with the campus to improve campus culture. Our objective is to help advance disability justice by centering intersectionality and empowering disabled voices within the institution.

SWC PRISM EAG
SWC PRISM advocates for 2SMLGBTQIA+ students, administrators, faculty, staff, and allies to foster a safe, affirming, respectful environment where everyone feels welcome to discuss, advocate, and grow. We prioritize inclusive excellence by embracing all gender identities and actively supporting individuals from diverse communities, including those of color, and promoting gender balance.
