Mission Statement
The Southwestern College Office of Institutional Technology (IT) is committed to providing
reliable and secure access to innovative, high-quality technology systems that support
the entire district and enhance the faculty, staff, and student experience.
Through strategic planning, partnerships, and collaborations, we will continue to
support the District to enhance the technological and academic experience of its students
and employees. We pledge to continue to develop the knowledge and skills needed to
remain versatile and responsive to the constant changing environment.

- Single Sign-On is Changing!
Over the coming months, our preferred Single Sign-On (SSO) system will be transitioning to “Microsoft Authentication” instead of the “MySWC Login” screen that you’re familiar with. - Student Email Moved to Microsoft 365 Outlook
Student email moved to Microsoft 365 Outlook from Gmail on August 14, 2024. - Staff/Faculty SPAM Email
As of August 14, 2024, employees will no longer need to check Gmail for SPAM email. - Cybersecurity Trainings
Cybersecurity trainings through Keenan SafeColleges are now available to all employees! - District Email Use Policy
The District Email Use Policy 3730 AP was updated on March 13, 2024.
