Anthropology and Biology
The life sciences department at Southwestern College offers courses that explore the living organisms of our world (including humans!) and how we are all intertwined with each other and our surrounding environment. The life sciences department is committed to providing a variety of courses that will meet the diverse needs of Southwestern College’s students. The Anthropology and Biology programs at Southwestern College prepare students for successful transfer to four-year universities as well as for careers in growing fields such as Biotechnology and the Allied Health Sciences. Faculty members in the life sciences department have a wide breadth of expertise and backgrounds that enhances the students’ experience.
