The Writing Center is dedicated to helping you become a skilled, confident, and independent writer.

Come to the Writing Center for help with any reading or writing project, whether for coursework or for personal and professional development. We can help you read and comprehend your assignment. In fact, we are here to help you at any stage of the writing process, from brainstorming, to drafting, to polishing. We can help you format, integrate, and document your sources as you navigate the research process in a variety of classes. We are here to support you!

A tutor will work with you for up to 25 minutes, looking at a specific question or challenge you might be experiencing in the reading or writing process. You are welcome to two sessions per day, with time to practice independently between sessions. 

Please bring a copy of your assignments, your books, and any other materials you feel will help us help you.
