Jennifer Lewis

Jennifer Lewis became the Dean for the Southwestern College School of Continuing Education and Workforce Development in late 2017.  She joined Southwestern College with over 20 years of experience in San Diego County’s community colleges (San Diego City College, San Diego Community College District, & Cuyamaca College)  with a focus on Continuing Education and community & industry engagement.  Ensuring community college career technical education programs meet industry talent needs is at the center of her work.  She acknowledges that it takes a village to ensure students have equitable access to discover their passion and have the ability to pursue higher education in order to achieve social mobility and attain living wage careers.  Creating pathways, access, and mobility for students is at the heart of her work at Southwestern College.
