The Southwestern College architecture curriculum is designed to provide students with the creative problem-solving skills and critical thinking processes necessary to successfully complete upper-division baccalaureate work leading to a professional bachelor of architecture degree and prepare for a professional career in the fields of architecture and design.

The Architecture Program at Southwestern College is the only public architecture program serving South San Diego County. Our distinguished program will provide you with a solid foundation in this vital and creative profession. By completing the program, you can earn an Associate of Science Degree or Certificate. Degrees in vocational programs or transfer programs provide opportunities to go directly into work or transfer to a NAAB (National Architectural Accrediting Board) accredited five-year institution of architecture.

- Associate in Science Degree in Architecture (Students generally take six semesters to complete.)
- Associate in Science in Architecture Technology (Students generally take five-six semesters to complete.)
