Canvas & Zoom Student Orientations

Canvas is SWC’s online course management system, which is used to share class content, facilitate activities, and communicate with class members.

Zoom is a free video conferencing tool that makes it easy to hold live meetings with video, audio, screenshare, chat, and more.

How to Join a Canvas Student Orientation
- No need to sign up in advance; just drop in. Sessions last 1 hour.
- Go to https://swccd-edu.zoom.us/my/swconline a few minutes before your orientation to join the meeting.
- Download the free Zoom app to join via mobile device.
- If you prefer to call into the meeting via phone, please note there is a toll charge:
