Decoding The Title Ix Regulations

An overview of what Title IX, the Clery Act, and VAWA can do to address the needs of victims of sexual assault.
This presentation will provide all Southwestern College community members with an overview of Title IX regulations, the Clery Act, and the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and how these laws impact the Southwestern College community when it comes to addressing matters of sexual assault. The presentation is appropriate for all members of the SWC community. The presentation is especially appropriate for any College District employee who works directly with students. Please join us in discussing how these legal requirements protect SWC community members from sexual assault and give voices to victims of sexual assault.
