ASO In House Elections

When the ASO has vacancies in their Senate, The ASO hosts what is known as "In House Elections" in which the current Senators vote in newly qualified candidates to the Senate. Below is the official Spring 2024 ASO online election petition. Please fill out ALL of the necessary information about yourself.

In order for your application to be approved, you must meet all of the qualifications listed in the ASO Constitution & By-Laws. Your eligibility for office will be verified by the Office of Student Activities and Student Services.
Once verified, you will be notified via email and invited to an ASO Senate Meeting to be interviewed. All Candidates must attend this meeting to be considered for election.
Please be aware of the following dates:
Elections will commence as follows:
- Monday, January 29th: In House Elections available online
- Monday, February 19th: Submission Deadline
- Thursday, February 22nd: Candidate Interviews at ASO Senate Meeting (11:45 am - 1:10 pm; Room 62A-110)
Important: If elected, you must be available to attend the weekly ASO Senate Meetings every Thursday at 11:45 am - 1:10 pm.
