Our program trains students to become proficient in the many skills needed to evaluate residential and urban landscapes for sustainable practices in design, installation and maintenance
The main goals of sustainable landscape design include:

- Conserve Material Resources
A sustainable landscaping approach would be to reduce yard waste by selecting appropriately sized plants and reusing and recycling construction waste. Furthermore, building materials should be carefully selected, using locally sourced materials whenever possible.
