The Associate Degree Nursing Program was granted full accreditation in April, 2014, by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) with no standards in non-compliance, and has continuing accreditation through Fall 2021.
The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing and the Board of Commissioners granted continuing accreditation to our Associate Degree in Nursing Program. The next evaluation visit will take place Fall 2021.

Upon completion of degree requirements, the graduate is eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure examination for Registered Nursing (NCLEX-RN). The Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) may refuse licensure to individuals who have been convicted of crimes that include felonies and/or certain misdemeanors.

The California Board of Nursing visited the ADN Program in fall, 2013 and provided continuing approval to the ADN Program for five years (full term) with the next review planned for 2018..
