DSS Test Proctoring
The Southwestern College DSS Test Proctoring Office provides test proctoring services to students who have been assigned testing accommodations through SWC Disability Support Services (DSS).
At the beginning of each semester, students should send their Authorized Academic Accommodations (AAA) letter to their instructors. Students can send their AAA letter using the DSS Service Portal.
The DSS Test Proctoring Office will provide test proctoring for online/remote classes and on-campus classes for students that are approved for testing accommodations. If your class test is taking place in person, DSS will offer in-person proctoring. Students can schedule their tests with the DSS Test Proctoring Office using the DSS Service Portal.
Proctoring hours will be available on the Chula Vista Campus Monday – Thursday from 7:30am – 4:30pm and Fridays from 7:30am - 2:00pm.
Tests should be scheduled at least 7 days prior to the date of the test.
Students who require one-on-one assistance (ex. accommodations including reader/scribe) should contact our office to discuss the options available. If you need online proctoring services, please contact the DSS Test Proctoring Office at dssproctor@swccd.edu at least 7 days prior to the test date.
Feel free to contact us with any questions regarding testing accommodations.

Virtual Chat
We are here to support each of our student’s needs. Chat live on Cranium Café by finding an online staff member below. To learn more, visit the Virtual Welcome Center. Our student service specialists have their hours of availability listed on their profile cards. If a team member's hours are not reflective of their availability, they are likely supporting another student. We give each of our students the individual attention and time they deserve. Thank you for your patience.
