Placing Materials on Reserve
If you have a copy of your textbook and you'd like your students to use it in the library, you can placed it on Reserve.
Additionally, faculty members often make special assignments for their students to use specific library books and/or other materials. Reserve materials may include supplemental class readings, photocopied articles or videos and audio files. At the Chula Vista campus, Reserve materials are located on the second floor of the library at the Reserve Desk Counter and can be checked-out for a limited period. You can also place Reserve items at the Center libraries. Note that Reserve materials are only accessible during open hours.
Faculty can fill out the request form and bring the physical item(s) to the desired library location.
Note: the video below says you must fill out a physical form but that is now online.
