Academic Services
The mission of Academic Services is to provide services, expertise, and resources that support academic areas of Southwestern Community College District.
The goal of the Academic Services is to assist faculty, staff and administrators throughout the District with curriculum, development, class scheduling and catalog production which impacts the student experience. In addition, Academic Services is responsible for facilitating the compliance for meeting local, state and federal regulations and guidelines.
The department provides an administrative structure which facilitates improved opportunities for collaboration across disciplines, innovative curriculum design, and new degree options. Academic Services works to insure that all credit, non credit and continuing education courses are current and maintain quality and relevancy.
